I hadn’t been to this club since it changed from Stilettos to Lace 2, and since it changed from nude-and-no-alcohol to topless-and-alcohol. The club itself hasn’t changed much. The main room is long and narrow, with a small stage along one of the long walls. It hasn’t been a club you visit for the stage show. You tend to sample the goods and head for the back for better-than-the-average New York lap dances.

This time out, I had two energetic dances from K.J. They were OK. Then I settled in with Star for a few dances. We moved to the back, and I had a good time there, though it wasn’t worth the money. They charged $300 for a half hour, plus a tip for the dancer and another suggested tip for the hostess (of course, Star neglected to mention that out front). We were left alone for the whole time (which is good), though I got the impression Star was restrained in what she could do. I’ve had better times in the back in past years under the old management.
