Visited: Saturday After Midnight

So, I visited E.I. on a Saturday after midnight, recently. Previously, I visited E.I. on a different night, but was immediately turned off by their sudden $7 parking lot fee set up at the popular church parking lot that's directly across from the venue. If you're like me and have patronized this club over the years, their sudden $7.00 charge just to park your car now takes some getting used to. All the years that I've been visiting E.I., it used to be free to park there, man. Don't know why they're suddenly charging $7 of all amounts. And why not like $4.00 or something? Why $7.00? Admittedly, I had not yet paid attention to the recent reviews that mentioned the $7.00 charge, so when I first rolled up on that first night without knowing, yo, I drove off dejected without visiting the club that night.

So, when I actually went back again on a recent Saturday night after midnight now fully aware of the $7.00 charge, this time, I also by then happened to have read up a review where someone on this site mentioned they 'just parked on the street in a residential area to avoid the $7.00 charge.' So, that's what I did, too. I only recommend this if you've patronized this spot as much as I have or you live in the DMV area and you're fully aware about what you're risking. Otherwise, don't be a fool or victim, always be safe--it's always a risky move to park just anywhere like that, if you're not from around the way. But if the venue is on your left side, I drove up to the next block or so and parked in the residential area. You can walk a few yards or so? and still see the the venue from where you parked generally and save $7.00. Again, this move ain't for the out-of-towners or newbies to the club. Pay the $7.00 and be safe, newbie.

Everyone always asks: do they accept cell phones in the club, now? Dude, just go ahead and leave your cell in the car. Ok? Until you hear otherwise. Because a few years ago the local media did a story about this SC and others, and a let us say an undercover reporter visited E.I. and captured video with their hidden cellphone of E.I. that (if I remember right) ended up on local TV news. That caused E.I. to make the cell phone ban, ok, AND at that time made the dancers switch up to wearing one-piece bathing suits and other odd changes concerning touching, whatever. So slowly we're getting back to 'the old days' but for the moment, to be safe, leave your cell in the car. And stop asking every reviewer about it if they forget to mention anything about it.
