There’s gotta be better places in Queens

Decided to stop off at Gallagher 2000 after the Mets game. From out of town so this was my first time there. Neighborhood not terrible except for a couple of striped cars I saw outside. I walk in and pay the 10 dollar cover to the most unhappy disinterested hostess I’ve ever seen. She looked like she wanted to either kill herself or burn the entire place down. I walk inside and the stage in the middle of the bar which goes all the way around. There’s no throwing dollars at the stage or any close viewing. The girls will come around and solicit tips at the end of their set. Some cute Colombian girls and some milf types that you could probably pick up on your own in a local bar. Not bad, not great but I was game. I can get into a milf fantasy if that is what I’m presented with.

But then came the prices. 2 bud lights and 2 waters cost me 50 bucks. No lap dances, just private room dances starting at $100 per 15 min. That’s it. No $20 dollar warmups to see if you click. I talked to a few to see if I could get a sense of “fun” happening back there but didn’t seem like it.

So I just watched about 5 dance sets, tipped when they came around, finished my beers and called it a night.
