I was in town for a week, and decided to check out the infamous Bogies. I ended up going a few times over my week there, and honestly, I like the place. If I lived in Detroit, I would go back. I also checked out a couple of other places nearby, and they are all relevant in that I would choose Bogies over the others. I also went to:

1) Henry VIII: Yikes! If Bogies is on the line for you, then this is right in the Abyss. Less dancers, most kind of scary looking. The layout is weird, and honestly looks like we’re inside a starship. Was here for 5 minutes before hoping in the car back to Bogies. Seems to me that this is just worse Bogies.

2) The Cricket: Seemed like a great place. Almost went back. Some pretty good-looking dancers in there (as well as the less-than-good-looking one), even if not a very diverse set of dancers of crowd.
