I'm brand new to the area coming from the midwest. I suppose they could smell it on me because they were all really standoffish towards me. Not that I minded all that much, just wanted to see the local color. So I got what I wanted, I guess. Just sat back and drank my beer without interruption, from anyone. I don't know what the deal was, but had I been there for some dances, I would have left a lot more disappointed than I did. Seemed like a fine place if you know the people or you just want to watch from a distance. Probably not going to go again, at least for a while.
