Visited: Friday Afternoon

After a recent trip, I decided to try for a little more fun with a trip to Vivide. I arrived around 4:40PM on Friday. As I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed that there were more cars than there had been in my previous two visits in June. I almost left to explore other options since I generally prefer places that are lowkey and don’t have large crowds. Since I had made the drive, I decided to go ahead and park. I paid the $10 admission fee after a light pat down and headed downstairs. Once I got downstairs, I went to restroom. There was now a restroom attendant with a little display set up. I also noticed that there is now a hoop/ring style pole in the section in front of the VIP section on the far side of the club as you come down the main stairs.

I headed to the bar where I purchased a bottled water for $5 and then found a space in one of the sections along the wall facing the bar. After a minute or two, I was greeted by an attractive light skinned dancer. I declined her offer for a dance since I was just arriving and trying to take in the busier club for a second. Shortly thereafter, the Latina that I had done VIP with during my two previous came up and started to dance. She danced for one song and stepped away to take a call, but promised to be right back. When she was returned, she offered VIP for $200. The house fees were around $60. Our VIP session was interrupted by a few couple of phone calls. She explained that she had to leave to go take care of her baby and that her taxi was waiting. Although, it was cut short I was still pretty satisfied. She apologized and offered to make it up the next time.

I headed back to the floor to take in a little bit more of the festivities. The dancers explained that it was one of the owners and one of the dancers’ birthday. The club seemed to have more dancers than there had been in previous visits. There were about five white dancers, with the rest being a mixture of Black and Latinas. I would guess there may have been a total of about 30 or 40 dancers altogether. A few of the dancers didn’t seem to approach the customers and were having more fun entertaining each other. I got one dance from a petite, dark skinned dancer who said that she was a former Follies dancer. She gave an okay grind and kept everything on, so I only danced her for one song at $10. I got about $40 in dances from a petite light skinned dancer who said that she had danced at Follies. Her grind was the best that I experienced today. I wish that I had locked her in for a few more dances. I got two dances from a tall, dark skinned dancer for $20. She had an okay grind that was okay, but not was good as the light skinned dancer.

I ended the outing with a short, thick, dark skinned dancer with more of a loc hairstyle. She was sitting in the section between two guys and came over offered to do a couple of dances after the birthday set that was schedule for 6:20. It was taking them a little time to get started with the birthday set so she changed her mind and offered a few dances before the set. Her grind was pretty good and allowed quite a bit of contact. She even did a little bit of a handstand. I paid her $50 for five dances. After the dances were over, she went back and sat between the two guys. As I was leaving, she came back over and stated that she was supposed to charge me more than $10 per dance because she allowed touching. I didn’t have a problem with giving her a little extra, but I think she could have stated that at some point during the dances or at the conclusion of the dances. I’m still likely to return, but I’ll definitely decline any offers from this dancer.
