I wasn't a super-regular at G2K pre-pandemic, but I would drop by 2-3 times a month, and it's easily the SC I've spent the most money in. It was my favorite neighborhood style bar in Queens- the venue itself is in a non-descript light-industrial area, but is a couple of minutes walk from the 7 Train and Queens Boulevard. I've now been back a few times since re-opening.

To look at, the place is unspectacular but clean and functional. There is a rectangular bar around a long island stage with two poles- back in the day there would usually be two girls on the bar stage, now they seem to be down to one; with the regular tip parade routine after every girl completes her dance. There is a main stage area with seating, but as an afternoon/early evening guy, I've never seen it in use, pre or post pandemic. There is a mezzanine area, part of which used to be used for regular dances (more on that in a second) and the rest is booths for vip/private. No cover during daylight hours, and cursory security. The bar now opens at 4 on a weekday (it used to be noon or one pm before, I forget which). There was a buffet (I never partook), but that seems to have gone.

The lineups I've seen were almost completely different from February 2020- In my visits I've seen two girls that I recognized. Unfortunately, my two faves are nowhere to be found. G2K always had an older dancer line-up (I'd have said the average age used to hover in the low 30s), but this has become much more true now. In my last couple of visits, I've seen maybe 2-3 girls who could be under 30, and plenty who could have been 40+. Mainly Latina with some Eastern European and an AA girl in the mix.
