A Friday night post-remodeling
I guess I get to be the first to review DR Orlando after it re-opened. I never visited before the re-modeling, so I don't know the differences. You have to pay for parking and there's a cover charge to get in - I paid both ($15) to the parking attendant and walked in. Be mindful of where they have you park, as they'll park cars 2 deep, but it hasn't yet to be an issue for me getting out.
When you walk in, to the immediate right is a hallway to the more private dance lounge and the 3 VIP/champagne rooms (more on those later). There are bars with seating at both ends of the rectangular large room with a two pole stage in the center. The VIP table seating is along the left wall from the entry door and is elevated for decent viewing. On the opposite wall from the VIP are couch seating with tables and chairs. There are high tops between the stage and the bar near the door. The place is fairly small compared to some others, but IMO nicely laid out and still easy enough to walk around even when busy. TVs are scattered about, especially over the bar areas.
The place was busy, I think all the VIP seating was taken and most of the couch seats, but I did get a high top easily enough. There were two girls on stage the entire time and plenty sitting with customers and others mingling, I'd say at least 20+ girls. I was treated as a VIP, with the manager providing the first drink on her - but then I'm pretty well known. My normal girl there found and sat by me quickly, with visits from a bunch of other girls I've talked to (or more) before. Everyone was super friendly and flirty, but YMMV. Dances are $20 (although some girls will charge more) and dances can be done at your seat or in the more private lounge, which requires a one-time $10 charge.
