It was a great evening but I came up empty.
I arrived in the evening before dark and there were 20-25 parked cars. This is usually a good sign that it's not too crowded and there are enough dancers to go around. Still it's hit or miss. But if there are few cars it might mean that dancers went home because they couldn't make any money.
You enter in the back, off Michigan Avenue, and parking is enclosed and free. No attendants. They had a area roped off at the rear of the building for grills and I think the full kitchen is closed. I saw a few people inside with white take-out boxes that were coming from outside but I didn't ask about food. Usually the food is pretty good.
There was a $10 cover and the place was moderately busy. The crowd was a good mix (sometimes it's young, old, ethnic or ghetto) and the bar area was half-full. There was a party for later and they had the place decorated with blue and white balloons and disposable table covers. The birthday tables were reserved but empty and there were plenty of empty tables. On to the reason I'm here..
