Small crowd outside near the entrance to the bar next door. As I am opening the door someone shouts, apparently the doorman is hanging out in that small crowd and comes rushing over. $22 cover, includes a drink.

Going inside, two stages, one was dark and empty (to the right of the door, along the same wall), other was just past the doorman, can see it as your paying cover I think (rumor has it there's a peep hole in the next door bar to see the stage?).
