Often stop #1, sometimes the only stop

When I head out to the clubs, it is almost always during the day when work will allow me to get out earlier than normal and still get home around the regular time. Yesterday was one of those days and I was coming from a location east of the suburban clubs. On these occasions, I often make a stop at the Cricket. Here’s my reasoning. Cricket has free, fenced parking and an entrance behind the building so you don’t worry about a passerby on busy Michigan Avenue connecting me to entering the club in the middle of the afternoon (rather than being at work). SC has no cover during the day, so I can walk past the doorman and slowly head for the bathroom that sits at the opposite end of the small facility. During this brief stroll I can make an initial assessment of the activity level and if I don’t see many dancers and no one is on stage, that’s usually the sign I should move on down the road. Having invested zero in parking and entrance fee that’s a painless call and I get to use the very decent bathroom that doesn’t have an attendant. I’m typically picking Bogarts or H8N next so avoid a bathroom stop in both of those places is always a good idea.

Yesterday, I was on the fence about staying but thirsty and stressed so I grabbed a small table situated towards the end of the bar where you enter. That’s the pole used second by the stage performers meaning you get closest when the dancer is wearing the fewest clothes and you can to make an impression right before they finish the stage show if you find someone interesting. A two beer bucket here is $9 domestic $11 import so a decent savings over the $7 per beer for domestics and you have both beers at once w the second on ice. That’s helpful because service here (like so many other places) is slow. The extra beer also allows me to time my consumption and either sip slowly if I want to wait someone out or chug them down if I want to hit VIP or the road quickly. If I get lucky, I find someone interesting who is not unreasonable and I then make a VIP visit and head out satisfied and with a couple of beers under my belt. If this is my only stop, I can walk back into the job or home without smelling like an ashtray since there is no smoking at the SC. There used to be smoking in a side room but that seems to have stopped and moved outside. Yesterday went well. There were 9-10 dancers by my count. I was approached by 4-5 of these which I take as a good sign if they feel the need to hustle the negotiations can be reasonable. My preferences run to a reasonable fit gal w a handful or more of boobs and a real butt, so I anti spinner. I was first approached by two spinners, one AA and one white both mid 20s. They asked if I wanted company and I politely declined. Next I was approached by a white gal w ginormous bolt ons. I not really a fan of the man mades but she was a decent conversationalist and when she asked straight out if I wanted a dance or some oral, I said sure and she then quoted $200 for the latter. I said sorry that not in my price range and thought she would just move on because perhaps w her assets she can find folks willing to pay the FC prices. Instead, she countered at $100 and said ok. Just then her phone rang and she had to step away. While she was gone a performer left the stage and headed straight to my table. I kept an eye open for the return of my well endowed dancer but she didn’t return promptly so when my new companion asked the inevitable “so do you like to have fun when you come here”. I said I do if things work out, she asked me what I usually pay and I told her the standard number. She quickly agreed and back we went. I am a fan of the VIP at SC. It is $10 per day (ie, you can make multiple trips back for one payment) and the private dance areas are truly private w heavy curtains the also reduce some sound and far more remove to get comfortable than the dumpy VIPs at the Hamilton clubs down the road. My entertainer did a terrific job, warmups lasted until I was more than ready rather than the half song then let’s get moving treatment that so many like to try to sell. I voluntarily probably a small gratuity over our agreed amount and she was genuinely pleased (I don’t like the immediate post performance pressure for a tip, I rarely will tip in those cases). I exited happy after she cleaned things up, hit the bathroom one more time and was on my way with just a little eau d stripper that I mostly eliminated w some open windows and some sanitizer. 45-60 minutes total, less than $150 total w beers, tips and VIP toll. For me, that’s success. If you are more interested in burning multiple hours watching a parade of hotties on stage SC (at least during the day) is not for you.
