Lots have changed

Seeing that i was in the neighborhood, i thought i would visit a favorite of mine before the pandemic. Boy, a lot has changed in this club. First of all, it's no longer called Pink Pony, as management changed hands and it's now called Chica's. Before entering to pay, you have to go through a metal detector and then they will ask you to fork over $25.

Once inside, i noticed the privates rooms that used to be in the back of the bar and to the right as you enter....are now gone. Also the whole side appears to be torn down or they may be renovating it...either way, it looked awful. The DJ used to played the music above the main stage but now it's moved to next to where the shower once was. There was a lot of wood on the side, so you get the sense that you're in a Barn.

After getting my drink, $5 and look around to see if there were any customers and noticed that was a group of guys and a couple and that was it. As for the girls, they were all Cubans except for 2 dancers that were white. There were about 10 dancers and the best way for me to explain how they look is to say that they would be the Cubans that are rejected by the other clubs. They were on the heavy side and in there mid to late 30's. With the exception of the tall skinny white dancer, the rest i would rate a 5.
