Used to be fun. Not even close now.

It’s been a year since I had been to this club, probably a little longer since the name changed from Flashdance to the Rose. Under the previous ownership it wasn’t a bad place. Typical local dive club. Girls were friendly, not pushy, but not 7’s or above on average. Dances were $10 and mileage was better than average. That was then.

Fast forward to present and a completely picture develops. First the club layout has changed significantly and not for the better. There is a main “U” shaped bar in the middle of the club. To the left is the main stage and along the wall are a few maybe 8 hi tops. Previously there were 4 seat tables in front of the stage which was nicer. Now it’s like there’s a huge hole in the middle of the room. There were seats stage side. Not anymore. On the other end of the room I guess a bottle service area but again nothing that spells that out. To the left of the bar are 2 smaller stages that are barely ever used. Along that wall are open cubicles for lap dances. Not sure who planned the remodel of this club but it sucks.

Today got there around 2:30. $2 cover , no security or pat down. Maybe 4 patrons and maybe 4 girls if that. I was there for about an hour and saw 2 girls dance on stage. Not sure what that was about. 2 dances an hour seriously!! But on the other hand apparently didn’t miss much. I was told dances were $15 but didn’t see anything worth test driving. Again there was nothing to even try. None of the girls were above a 5. I came with the hopes of seeing a little action but nada, zip, zero, zilch.
