Return to Ruby’s

Returned to Ruby’s after not being there for close to two years.

Not much has changed in terms of the look and feel of the place.

Was there on a Tuesday afternoon, not very crowded. Seemed as though the regulars who always sat at the bar nursing their drinks and ignoring the girls never left. The other side of the room, where the stage is, was fairly empty - just a few of us there.

Girls in general seemed a bit older than before and had put on some pounds during the pandemic (didn’t we all?). In the past, there always seemed to be at least one or more twenty-something, young, firm bodied girl as part of the mix. Along with that were many 30s girls who did their best, and a few older babes where the time had come for them to hang up their dancing shoes and g strings. This visit, I saw nobody that fit the former description - I don’t think there was a dancer in the house under 30.

I did have two dancers join me for lap dances - one was ok. Not the best I ever had, but was somewhat free with her hands and allowed me the same freedom. The second dance I had was simply terrible. It was more of an air dance, and the girl barely even sat on my lap. More of an air dance than a lap dance. Perhaps she was fearful of COVID, but if that’s the case, don’t offer a lap dance. I’m surprised she didn’t bring her own personal plexiglass partition. Now that would have been something.
