Still recovering from COVID, but definitly worth a visit
This club has still not recovered to anything close to its pre-COVID self, but I ended up having a great time. I wondered in about 10:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. The night cover charge is $10, but waived with a military ID. I tossed a couple of bucks in the door girl’s tip jar and went in.
The setup has not changed. There is short hall immediately past the door, restrooms to the left, main club area with a floor level, octagon shaped stage to the right, with seating and tables around the stage. Past the stage to the left is a long bar and another seating area. A beer at the bar was still $5 (I think—maybe $4?). All the same as I recall. What has changed is the vibe.
During my first several evening visits to this club starting about three years ago, it was chock full of a diverse crew of good-looking dancers: Cubans, all-American blondes, and AAs, most of which were very willing to please. It was a very high-energy vibe. I would describe the vibe for this visit as “funeral home.”
