Return to XTC 2021

This was my first return trip to XTC after getting fully vaccinated.. I won’t get into details on people wearing masks or not but it did feel weird returning. I usually go in late night either Thursday or Sunday to avoid the weekend crowd and the super slow weekday crowd.

I also noticed that they got rid of my favorite sitting area along the wall by the dj booth, the area has been converted into 3 makeshift cabanas. So now, for $60 you can rent one if the cabanas for 30 mins while it will cost $120 to rent the private area in the vip. This was one change I really didn’t like as the cabanas has a beaded curtain, not totally private and someone can hear if they walk by close enough. Plus, that wall area was my favorite spot to sit and you could see the whole club from there. It also seems that dances at night must happen in the vip which is another $25 on top of cover which was $25 for Thursday. Add on a parking fee of $7 and it’s getting pricy just to get into the club.

The girls were mixed, many I recognize from my last trip in 2020. Texas passed a stupid law where anyone under 21 cannot work in an adult establishment, so don’t expect to see any young diamonds in the rough. The majority of the girls are from central to South America, mostly from Cuba. Speaking and understanding some Spanish will go a long way here. If you like the ticker girls, there were a couple there that fits the bill, one from Cuba and another from Columbia. I tried to get the Cuban’s attention that night but she would rather sit and drink with a customer.
