Wrapped up some business in Peoria...

Wrapped up some business in Peoria a little after 5 and decided to try Big Al's. Easy to find on Main St downtown with good signage. Walked in without paying (no cover till 6). The bar was crowded but only a few others seated at tables, and only 1 girl in sight. The waitress was fast, took my order and returned with my drink and then I waited . . . and waited . . . the few dancers on the early shift were slow to get on the stage, uninspired in their dances (and uninspiring, ranging from a 3 up to a 5) and didn't work the room after their stage show. Finally, about 6:45, the evenging dancers began to show up. They looked a little better and, more important, they appeared interested in what they were doing!

The place looks nice enough, the drink prices were good (a $2 special for anything) and the waitress was prompt. The problem was the ladies. I only saw 7 dancers total between the two shifts for a room with 25 -35 people (including 2 couples). Granted it was early on a week night and if I had been able to stay or visited on another night I might have gotten a more positive impression, but that night was not a party experience.

The saving grace for me was one of the few dancers that entertained while she was on stage. Jada was sexy funny and interactive on stage. She approached me after her set and I joined her in the back room (couches, no privacy, but no one else was there at the time and no bouncers checked in). Her looks were about a 6 or 7 but her moves were much better. She stuck to the house rules and wouldn't allow me to touch her but O' did she ever touch me - very good grindage!!. At $20 per the dances are a little steep considering the no touch, short songs, and no privacy. I may go back if I am in Peoria again.
