I pulled up to Platinum at around 3pm on a Friday. The valet asked for $10. I obliged, got out of my car and headed to the door for a quick pat-down. Once that was over with, I headed inside and tipped the woman at the desk before entering the interior of the club.

This was my first time at Platinum, so I took a moment to soak in the layout before I made any moves. Compared to the layout at Follies, it didn't leave me terribly impressed. The club is shaped like a hallway: much longer than it is wide, with the bar area sitting in the center of two (slightly) roomier sections with seating, tables, and booths. It seemed like the booths were in high demand (there wasn't a single spot open), so I grabbed a table in the middle of the club's left side. I wasn't in love with the choice of spot due to the number of people that were constantly coming through, but it's not like there was an abundance of better alternatives to pick from. I swallowed my discomfort and lit up my blunt so I could scope out what the club had to offer.

There really wasn't much to see at first. Maybe 6-8 girls giving dances, chatting at the bar, and walking through club. Since I sat in such a high-traffic area, many of the girls stopped by and asked if I was interested in a dance, but none of them were really my type (there were a lot of twiggy Cubans with fake asses and small tits). I prefer them on the thicker side, which Follies was able to deliver on fairly consistently. However, I found myself watching and waiting for someone to catch my eye for a good while to no avail. I did have my eye on a shorter Cuban with nice hips and a large rack, but she was preoccupied with two gentlemen in the booths.
