Getting better
I think things are showing some promise at Players now that COVID seems to be on the way out. Masks are off, VIP is open again. I stopped in on a Tuesday around 6:30 hoping to see the day shift talent and shift change at 7:00. I know Tuesday day shift isn’t going to bring lot of girls so my expectations were low. While there were only 8 or 10 girls dancing, I’d say most were attractive enough.
One odd thing I’ve never experienced at a strip club occurred shortly after I arrived. Three girls all went on stage at one time and proceeded to practice different pole tricks. One girl was giving pointers to the two newer dancers. I’ve seen dancers give brief pointers to others, but this went on for 20+ minutes and the dancers never really danced for the patrons nor did they take ever take their tops off. Practice like this should occur before operating hours. I blame the DJ. He should have been paying attention and prompted the girls to get on with the show.
7:00 came and went without the shift change, all girls on stage review that used to occur. A few of the day shift girls stuck around and a few new girls trickled in. All were ok, but not enough to temp me into a vip trip.
I’m looking forward to checking Players out on a Thursday or Friday. I think there will be some better talent and the show will be a bit better. Plus Suzy should be tending bar and she is always fun.
One last thought - Whisper needs to find a different way to earn a living. She sits around with a look of disdain. Her stage show is boring. Combined with her advancing weight and age, her grim personality, I’d say it’s time to earn her living doing something she’s more fit for like an overnight Waffle House waitress.
