Late Lunch with a Legend
Pulled in around 3:30p on Wednesday and GPS brought me to the rear of the club, which looks like a series of loading docks and had a bunch of semi-trucks parked. Pulled along the side of the building through the parking lot and drove around front. To the left of the club is valet parking and to the right-front is free self-parking. Bouncer greeted me outside and asked for ID. Had me remove contents of pockets and proceeded with pat down. Waived in and instructed to head-in. Walked past the door girl with no protest, so I take it that there is no cover charge during the day?
Similar to other Vegas clubs, this place was incredibly dark and the transition from the bright sun to the dim-lit main floor was challenging. Managed to bump my way past a series of rolling chairs to the bar where I met up with lotsoffun201 and one of his friends. This is how well-regarded lotsoffun201 is...when I walked up, there was no chair at the bar. He informed the bartender (cute brunette with a smoking body and cool personality - Jen) that I was with them and they immediately got a bouncer to grab me a chair. She asked what I wanted and I ordered my Jack and Coke, which she poured immediately and sat on a napkin. Unsure about whether it was on the house or not, I offered to open a tab and handed over my CC. Jack and Coke was $7 for those keeping track.
We sat and caught up for a while, exchanging stories and intel. The club had about 5-7 PLs (all sitting at the bar) with 2 or 3 dancers "working". I say "working" cause there was no stage show happening, rather they were visiting with PLs and chatting. We did notice one older dirty-blonde/brunette constantly going back to the VIP and disappearing for a while before coming back out and drumming up more business. I was starting to get anxious about getting some dances, but dancer selection was minimal. Getting close to 5p at this point, I opted to get a late-lunch and asked the fellas what to munch on. LOF recommended their chicken and waffles, which had my interest piqued! His buddy said you couldn't go wrong with the tacos. I opted for the C&W ($14). Bartender placed the order and it came out fresh in a to-go container. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was, and would recommend to anyone interested in grabbing a bite.
