First visit to Mint Lounge

My bf & I visited Mint Lounge for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon around 4pm. Mint’s very small parking lot was already full but there was a spot available on the street in front of the club. People weren’t lying about how unnervingly close Mint is to Miami Garden’s city department building.

Bf was patted down, my bag was checked. No cover.

For it being pretty early in the afternoon on a Wednesday, the club was packed. We grabbed the last 2 seats at the bar. As Papi Chulo stated in his review, the place does have a very festive party atmosphere, decorated with lots of green & silver balloons.

Mint utilizes their small space well. 1 main stage in the middle with 2 poles, seats all around the stage/bar, and standing area along one side.

There were 2 bartenders working. I swear the one bartender must have been the one that was working when Papi Chulo was there. Unless I flagged her down, she completely ignored us. Mint only sells top shelf liquor. It was $10 for a Great Goose drink, $4 for a Corona.
