Eh, Pleasants is still a little far from back to normal.

Okay was back for the first time since the pandemic began (fully vaxed now). Cover was $10. All staff (non-dancers) were wearing masks and about 20% of the customers. Temperature check and pat down at the door. There is now a plexi barrier between the bartenders and the customers with a gap underneath where drinks and money exchanged. The "must buy food" thing has gone with the latest CT guidelines. Girls were dancing on the stage. No masks for dancers. Sadly, only 20% of the old crew have returned - I saw Ari and Chantel. I would say right now the girls are fatter (+20lbs) and older than pre-pandemic. Most of the girls were latin with marginal understanding of english. Hopefully things will normalize over the next few months. It appears the standard fare is available. You pay to get in, you pay to use the back rooms (I think another $10), and you get a couple of songs and you negotiate with the girl. I did not partake this time around but from what I heard prices were maybe $20 more than pre-pandemic for maximum fun. Nobody reported they were any more rushed than before. There was a line to get into the back room though. Too many customers this afternoon. I was there with a couple of hundred bucks and was ready to go, but girls were too busy workin' it to give any personalized attention and frankly if the girls are too busy to sit down and have a drink and flirt for a bit, I'll save my money for another time.
