Dead Friday night at Platinum
Went in Friday night around 10, first time with the new name. Plentiful parking. $12 to get in, $6 for a fancy bottle of water. I was expecting there to be a full house, but there were only maybe a dozen dudes, and twice that number of ladies. Big place, but the lack of people gave it a weird feel. There is a barber's chair there, but I never saw it used. The stage has both a pole and a hoop that is suspended from the ceiling, which I think is unique in the city. It wasn't used this night, tho. Most of the women were hanging out at the bar, or sitting at the tables, not a lot circulating. All of the women were attractive, 7-9, but none really stuck out as drop dead gorgeous. Waitress was great: quick to get my drink order, and checked in on me occasionally without being pushy.
After I got my fancy water, I was approached by a curvy aa with a great smile named Amber. She was flirty and fun, we chatted for a bit, and she asked me about dances. She told me $25 each upstairs, $100 for 15 minutes and up in the champagne rooms. I got two dances with her. The dances were fun, but not nearly what you would get for $25 at some of the other clubs nearby. Some grinding and boobs-in-face, but she did not roam and I didn't get a vibe that I should test the limits.
After that, I hung around for a bit and watched the stage show. I had one girl come by and give me the wanna-dance, but I wasn't interested
This place seems like it is more geared towards large groups of out of towners here for spring training or a conference, and less than ideal for a single local guy. Very classy, very professional, everyone was very friendly
