When In Marion....

Stopped here for nostalgic reasons while I was in town. I grew up in the area, and have memories of sneaking in here when I was in high school. We actually made it in once.

I got there about 8:30 on a Wednesday night. The 300 pound woman, who has been mentioned in previous reviews, was there. I went to the bar and ordered a $2 Coke. The bartender told me they had no girls at the time, but they were on the way. Keep in mind the club opens at 6pm. Now, I worked in clubs all through college. We, didn't have girls ready to go right at open. However, they were at least in the building. The bartender was cool and was a good conversationalist. Then the manager came up and was hanging all over her. Apparently, they were together, and he had her stop dancing. The whole time I was there, he was glued to her hip I'm thinking: "Dude, you have a club to run....go do some work." I waited about an hour and still no girls. I asked the bartender how late they were open, and she aid until 3am. I decided to leave and go get some grub.

I can tell the inside of the club had some upgrades. Apparently, they got a new owner who owns a couple clubs in Ft. Wayne and he put some money on the inside.
