My girlfriend and I had talked about going to a club together for a while. When she made the suggestion that we go to the Cheetah as after we finished dinner Friday night I jumped at the chance. After a stop at the ATM we pulled in the parking lot at about 10 pm. The club is not in the safest area and I had a lady with me so I decided to valet park. The $3 charge was more than reasonable. The attendant was friendly and parked my car close to the front.

Once inside we were greeted by a cute and friendly cashier who asked us if we wanted regular or vip. Being newbies we chose regular for which we were charged $10 each. We were shown in by a bouncer and headed to chairs near one of the two stages on opposite sides of the main room. A nice looking and friendly waitress came over a within a couple of minutes and took our drink order. We paid $13 for two bottles of beer. I started to pay with cash and the waitress recommended to save my cash and pay for the beer with a card because the club ATM charges a 7% fee. I thanked her and asked if she could change a couple of 20s for me into 1s ands she cheerfully did so.

The lighting in the club was bright enough to provide a good view but not so bright as to kill the mood. The volume of the music was just right. Loud enough to give party vibe but not too loud to hear each other talk. There were maybe 12 other people in the club. 2 others were couples.
