Visited: Thursday Afternoon

If you're going to have only one club in your state, this is a pretty good one to have. When I visited on a Thursday afternoon there was plenty of space to park my car outside, and plenty of space to park my butt inside. The dancers are beautiful and easy to talk to, and the whole place signals competent management. (Purists will point out that seethere's one other club in New Hampshire, and that one of the women was sort of average looking, but you get the general idea.)

The club is about an hour north of Boston and about a mile off Everett Turnpike. It's easy to find and easy to spot from the road. The bar and stage are in a large room with a few scattered tables. All this is about ten steps from the front door, but I didn't get that far. I had gone to New Hampshire because I heard that an old friend from Golden Banana was working there. So, when I was greeted by a tall blonde Brazilian who sort of looked like my friend, I didn't want to admit that I wasn't sure I recognized her. She offered a dance, and I accepted.

The private dances are to the right of the front door, behind a large empty lobby and a tiny cashier's cage. You pay in advance, which usually is a deal-breaker for me. She said, "That'll be $300, please," My eyebrows must have shot up, since she quickly said, "How about three songs for $100?". I agreed and paid the guy in the cage. There are half a dozen curtained cubicles with a little privacy. It turns out "3 for $100" meant "2.5 for $120," so not exactly a bargai, especially since the dances involved a level of contact that you can get at most Providence clubs for a few singles.
