Went to the Lamplighter a couple...

Went to the Lamplighter a couple of weeks ago. Currently rated #1 on the TUSCL Bottom 40, I was anxious to see how it compared to the #2 club, Katz in Alabama. Its pretty much a toss up as to which one is worse, but here is the Tale of the Tape (in fairness to Katz, its been a while since my last visit):

Quality of Girls: Lamplighter - not by much, but there were more of them and they seemed a little more active

Cleanliness: Toss up. Trying to choose one in this category would be like trying to determine which is the skinniest hippo at the zoo. They're both terrible.

Activity: Lamplighter - at least the girls seemed to be doing something to interact with customers. The place has a faint pulse, Katz was DOA.

Staff: Katz - bartender did pay some attention without being pushy. Lamplighter staff was indifferent.
