Old club, new look

This was my first return to Diva's since the early in the pandemic. I had tried to visit earlier in the year, after I was vaccinated, but they were closed. My assumption was that they were struggling to find customers and staff. I no longer think this was the issue. Since my last visit (sometime in 2019, I think), Diva's has been through a light remodel. The tables, chairs, carpet and barstools are new. The layout hasn't changed in the last 10 years or so, but the seating is greatly improved. There are mirrors on every wall, and if you are not careful you can be fooled about the size of the club. It is not very big, but you never feel cramped in here. As usual, the music was very loud.

I went in early on a Friday afternoon, about 4 ~ 4:30. No one checking IDs, and no cover. I think they do both as the day continues, but I don't know when they actually start, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't at 6. When I went to the bar to order a drink, the bouncer did a quick temperature check on my wrist, other than that, there were no indications of any Covid precautions. I am off alcohol for a while, so settled for a coke, ($1.00). I saw someone order a Mich Ultra, and left a $5. I assume that included a tip, as the bartender thanked him. I don't think the drink prices were out of line at all. Dancer drinks are $8.95, but that is to be expected here in Lexington. I found out that the dancers have to sell a count of drinks, don't know what it is, but I know it is there.

There were very few girls that looked to be working, perhaps 4, but not more than 6. The bar had about 5 or 6 pls and one guy was at a table with a dancer, just talking. There were a couple of girls at the bar, nothing to note, but I wasn't sure if they were working or not.
