Okay Time

Had to be in Jackson and stopped by Avanues right at what I thought was basically the opening time (5pm), but apparently they open at 3pm now, maybe because of time restrictions. Anyway, park on the street because it isn't terribly clear what parking lot is what so I always park on the street behind the club. Fairly safe area and it was daylight.

Go in, long hallway where the bathrooms are before you get into the club. Long bar to the left, stage and seating area to the right and a pool table (I think this is new) at the back. I find a spot at the bar near the juke box so I can check out the ladies and get a beer ($3.75 I believe). It looks like 3 or 4 girls, but there were a few downstairs and a couple came in while I was there.

Dixie comes up to me and she is an attractive, fairly fit blond-ish girl, young but mentioned having children of which there was really no evidence of. Good conversation, joked with the bartender, and eventually asked for dances. Downstairs we go after $5 to the bar and we find a spot. She was good enough to wait for the next song but basically laid on me while we waited. Dances were good, a solid dance, decent grind, some OTP shifting, but never got too crazy. If I were there again, knowing that this isn't Bogarts, I would get dances from her again. Did 3 songs and done.
