A good value for me, always left happy.

I read a couple reviews that differ from my experiences and I am a bit surprised overall. I have always left happy, with what I wanted and with some money left over. This is if you don’t mind little privacy for dances. Maybe I have lower expectations?

I stopped by on a Monday afternoon/evening there was no one at the door so I didn’t seek anyone out to pay any possible cover. I was passing through the area so I hit the restroom before heading to the bar. The restroom was clean. There is no door from the bar but the stalls have doors if you need them. lol I was masked up from the time I went in and went up to the bar. I then noticed the bartender was not wearing a mask. She asked me to lower mine so she could make sure I was old enough. Ha! I did so and looked around. No one was wearing masks. I said, “Oh, no one is wearing a mask?” She said they just had the signs up to be compliant. I am vaccinated so I took mine off too. Tables were spread out with two chairs each and every other table had a sign not to use it and tape on it. I was there for about 3 hours and no dancers wore masks. There were a couple older customers who came in and were wearing masks but that was it.

Mixed drinks all have some amount of silver change in their price. I am not sure whose idea that is but the bartenders end up with change and a buck or two from me for a tip. It could be annoying. Jack and Cokes were $6-something* to the best of my remembering. I ran low on dollars for the strolls mentioned below. I only had twenties left and the bartender gave me twenty ones. I must have made a face involuntarily and she said, “You said you needed ones.” Indeed I did.
