Wasted Visit
The location is a bit of a rough part of Dallas, but not likely unsafe, generally. The parking is very limited, but there was no crowd when I went on Thursday afternoon.
Inside, a charming hostess took $5 as a cover charge, not mentioning any options like VIP area seating. The decor is unremarkable...not stylish nor especially trashy; not sparkling nor especially grimy. There is one stage, a bar area, a DJ booth, and three seating areas. One of those seating areas--closest to the stage--is at "ground level," and the other two seating areas are slightly elevated. Those are called VIP, and require a $30 wristband, but are wide open and not at all private.
There were about 8 dancers: 1 Caucasian, 2 AA, 5 Cuban. All were pretty; none were stunning. All were cordial; none were overtly suggestive of any special activities. The 4 I talked with were intelligently conversant, but my poor Spanish language skills hindered my conversations with the 2 Cubans to whom I spoke.
Because nothing was happening--no one got any dances, and no activities were going on in the VIP area--I left after giving about an hour in hopes it would liven up.
A wasted visit, but not at all costly.
