Sometimes the bottom of the barrel is just what you need

Mickey's has two superlative advantages:

1 Location it's 10 minutes closer to Massachusetts than any other RI club, it's about 50 yards from the state line.

2. It's at least 20% cheaper than anyplace else. Dances are $20 per five minute block, so you actually know what you're getting, and the meter starts when you do. Anyplace else you'd spend $25 to $35 for a "song," which could be two to four minutes.
