Disappointing and boring.

Visited Lust last night with my wife. It was easy to find and the parking lot was full of cars, so I was expecting a packed room, but inside the dancers and employees outnumbered the patrons 3-1. They scanned our IDs at the front, then went in and got wanded for weapons (visual inspection of my wife’s purse), then to the window to pay cover, then in the club.

The bar was to the right, the stage in the center and seating all around, with VIP booths at the far end and multi-seat tables by the walls. We were offered the VIP package (booth and bottle of champagne) but we declined so we could sit at the booths). We tried one table and a bouncer told us it was taken (though it was empty and clean). We tried the second open table, but same thing. It seems they just wanted us sitting at the stage, so we did.

Marie was dancing on stage and she was a hard 4, looking bored and putting almost no effort into it. Our waitress came quickly and she was a solid 8 with a great personality. We ordered drinks (beer and wine) and opened a tab. Drinks came fast and were cheap ($25 for 1 beer and 4 glasses of wine by the end of the night). My beer had a strange aftertaste like Splenda, so I sipped it cautiously.
