Open for Business, but not up to par yet

Was in Bridgeport and heard that Bishops was open again. Had not been for at lest a year before COVID hit, so its been over 2 years. Funny though, as soon as I walked in I noted that nothing changed - it seems like I had been there yesterday. Street parking only, not sure what it is like after dark, I have only been in the afternoons. Parked about a half block walk from the club, which is situated on the corner and looks like a private house. As soon as you enter, you are hit with the fog from the cloud of smoke. This place still permits smoking, or at least doesn't enforce any non smoking rules. So if you don't want to go home smelling like an ashtray, you probably don't want to go here! Probably about 6 or 7 girls working when I get there around 3 - mostly latinas, and if I were to guess, most in their mid-late 30s or early 40s. Most look like they are past their prime. Within minutes, I was approached by a latina girl - probably Dominican - pretty face but a body that was a little too chunky for my taste. I received a welcoming handshake below the belt and a kiss on the cheek, accompanied by a proposition of how happy she could make me if we went for a dance. I politely said I just arrived, and wasn't ready to go for a dance yet. She smiled and gave me a parting squeeze.

Beer was reasonably prices, but really was not very cold. That was a disappoint me. Would expect at least an ice cold beer. Several girls rotating dancing on the small rectangular stage one at a time. Not sure I would actually call it dancing, most of them literally got up on the stage and stood there. Often, a regular would go over next to the stage and spend most of the dancers time chasing with her. Certainly not the place to go to if you want to sit back and enjoy some provocative, exciting, stripper dancing. However, it did provide an opportunity to see what the girls looked like if you couldn't tell as they walked around the club.

I was approached by 2-3 other girls in the 3o minute I stayed, but unfortunately, there was really no one there that did it for me. They talked a good game, but their appearance didn't make me anxious to take one in the back for some fun. Maybe I picked a bad day. Glad that they are reopened and hoping that some quality comes back soon!
