Hadn't been to a club for about a year. With vaccinations common and some of the area restrictions lifted, I decided to give Cheerleaders a look on a Monday. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, it was the same down-to-earth experience that I remembered. Staff had masks on or masks at the ready, and some of the dancers were dancing with masks under their chins, but otherwise it felt totally normal (albeit slow, around Midnight on a Monday)
I talked to one of the hostesses that I used to pal around with a little bit over the last few years. She said that there has been a lot of turnover, many old girls gone, many new girls in. That made sense to me, I don't think I recognized any of the dancers, though the new talent seemed pretty attractive. As I've said before, the girls here always tended to skew "rocker" with lots of skinny girls with tattoos. There was some of that, but a few new "girl next door" or quietly exotic types. I saw one new dancer (can't remember her name) who was mixed with some of the longest, most beautiful legs and smoothest looking skin I've ever seen. No overtly overweight or sloppy girls at all, which I know has been some guys' complaint on here.
I hung around for about an hour and didn't do any dances or rooms, but my aforementioned hostess friend says that everything is as normal with those. Good info to know. All in all, seems like there were fewer girls on average than I remembered, but I imagine that this whole Covid episode has hit businesses like this pretty hard. Will be back soon.
