Good People. Ok for a Strip Club.

It’s been well over a year since I visited Fat Jacks, but decided to stop by and see how things are during COVID. Well, not much has changed. There’s a sign on the door indicating masks are required but inside virtually nobody was wearing one, which is fine by me. The layout of the bar and dance area has been described in previous posts so no need to restate that information as nothing has changed.

I arrived around 5:00 on a Friday evening. Happy hour started at 5, so light beer taps were only $2 which worked for me. There were 4 dancers and about 10 patrons in the place plus 3 or 4 staff. Almost everyone was in the bar area and not back in the dance area. The dance area is a separate space through some doors. Entry to the dance area is $8 and once you pay you can go freely between the two areas. I sat at the bar for a while and a dancer sat next to me. After chatting for maybe 15-20 minutes she asked if I wanted a dance. I agreed and we went back to the dance area. As in past experiences dances are on a couch with your hands on the couch arms. No touching of the dancer. The dance is one song in length and costs $30. My dancer was good and pretty attractive but the one way limited contact is for $30 is not exactly a great deal. There is also a VIP area but I forgot to ask the cost. That is a no-touch area as well, so I can’t believe that provides a good value either.

After the dance I returned to the bar area and had a burger and fries for $12. The food was good and chatting with the other patrons was good as well. It seems like your typical northern Minnesota bar where everyone seems to know each other. After eating and another beer I went back to the dance area to check out some stage dances. The girls do get nude on stage so that is one plus. I sat in the front row and tipped the dancer $20 for her stage show.
