First club visit since march 2020

After finally getting vaccinated and actually having an excuse to be out of the house (not so easy in this work from home, minimal shopping and socializing era) I decided to pay a visit to a local strip club. Saturday evening is not my usual ideal visit time, but you take what you can get. First my first visit in over a year, I decided to try the old faithful of strip clubs -- Burlington, NJ's Playhouse Lounge. Overall the club looked the same, except there was no barside seating. Long rectangular bar with two stages in the middle. Customers are expected to sit at tables around the outside of the bar. Two stools per table. They did make an effort to spread customers out, but obviously if all the stools are full you are going to be in pretty tight proximity to the person at the table next to you. Temp check at the door and a $10 cover got me a drink coaster and a bottle of water. The cute bartender waved me over to the last empty table right by the back couch rooms and dancer dressing room. Not somewhere I would usually sit, but I have to admit I saw everyone coming and going, well as much as I could see since all the dancers were wearing masks while dancing and walking around.

I'm pretty bad at putting names and faces together under normal circumstances, so I practically had no idea who most of the women walking around the bar were once you add the face masks! I will comment that the face masks really concentrate your attention on the dancers eyes and the eyes dont lie when it comes to revealing the dancer's age. Lots of wrinkles. The talent was NOT spectacular on this particular evening.

There was one cute young thing I didnt recognize that unfortunately was busy my entire visit. Trying not to sound neurotic, but the whole covid-safe setup really threw off my enjoyment of the club. I would usually come and hang out for a few hours, chat with each of the dancers, do some barside grinding, sprinkle in a dance or two, but for this visit, once Cayenne came by for the second time I was ready for her to do her thing and get back on the road.
