Stick to the day shift.

This bar is one of my frequent haunts. Conveniently near several highways with a large parking lot. The bar is small probably less than 1000 square feet with a small stage and tables lining the perimeter of the bar. I Stopped by this afternoon breaking my normal routine of afternoon visits. Definitely a different beast at night. Normally the bar has 4-6 older Latinas. This evening there were 4 younger Latinas when I walked in, one was occupied with a customer two were making the rounds on the dollar train and one was on stage dancing. I sat down at one of the barside tables and ordered a Heineken for 6 bucks which was brought to me by the bartender. Something just felt off. On a normal day trip customers are friendly and you can strike up a brief conversation with most patrons or as much of a conversation that you would have with a stranger in a strip club. After a few minutes I was approached by a thick Latina who looked to be in her 30's. She quickly offered a dance to which I accepted for $25 as I was short on time and looking to make this a quick trip. I should have known something was amiss when she left several times in the 3 minutes we were waiting to use the 1 lap dance room to solicit tips from other customers. Now I am not a guy who goes to clubs and falls in love but I found it tacky that she couldnt sit and chat for a few while we waited for the room to be free. Once it was our turn to tango we went into the small curtained off lap dance area where she struggled to find the clip to close the curtain knocked over my beer in the process. Once we settled in she quickly gave me the menu and we agreed on a billy joel cover song for $60 and about 1 minute she stops and tells me I need to hurry up because my time was almost up. I ended up not being able to finish as she stopped several times to complain about the time. All in all not sure if this trip was a bust because of this particular girl or because the evenings here are just not worth it. Will stick to the day shift moving forward.
