Warning: Bottle service only

Good evening. Last night around 930 I decided to hit up Breathless. I haven’t been since June/July and that was only outdoors. I heard they recently opened up inside so I was excited to see if it was the place I remembered. I get to the parking lot and the place is pretty crowded. At this point my hopes are high. Looks like many people are getting more comfortable. I get to the door and see the same bouncer from last year. Ok this is starting to feel like I never left!

He informs me that there is a $10 cover for men and $20 for women. Ok no problem. If I recall, that was typical pre Covid. Then he informs me that there is a one bottle minimum to get in. He explained that a bottle starts at $225 and it could be Grey Goose, Jack Daniels, etc. At first I thought he was just fucking with me because I was a little high but nope he was dead serious. I was NOT looking to drop $300 let alone polish off a bottle of Jack so I walked out.

When I returned to my car I thought that was so weird. It didn’t make sense to me really. So I called them up. The person who answered the phone confirmed it (it wasn’t the bouncer on the phone!). Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night will be bottle service only. Needless to say I’m not a baller so I won’t be back until that changes. The more I thought about it I felt it made business sense since maximum capacity is still probably only 50%.
