Pleasant Moments not so Pleasant

Was so excited to learn that PM had reopened given the pandemic. Had not been here in a very long time, and missed the vibe of this place. everyone who entered the doors of this establishment knows exactly what the deal is. No frills, low cost, hit or miss with the talent act is there any given day, and an opportunity to get off at a very reasonable cost. Obviously, speaking the native language of Spanish or Portuguese is a big advantage.

So I ventured back to what looked like the same place I had been a year or two before. However, there were many changes - subtle and not so subtle. First, the cover charge, which had been a $5 bill last time I checked, has increased quite a bit. Didn't count my change, but I think it was either $10 or $12 this time. Ordered a beer at the crowded bar (the crowd hint changed) and it also had gone up in price by a buck or two. Not a big deal. I took a seat facing the stage between the two levels so I could want the talent dance. Well, there is no more dancing, The stage remained empty for the hour that I was there. Now, on to the most important feature of the place - the girls. As I said earlier, int he pat it was hit or miss in terms of the good looks of the girls, but in most cases, there were always some 6s and 7s at a minimum - occasionaly, on a good day, you might find some 7s, 8s. or even a 9. On this past visit, I was disappointed in that most of the ladies working were int the 5 range. I rad that the average person put on 1.5 pounds a month during COVID - the dancers here clearly had that issue. As opposed to the many skinny latinas I had enjoyed here int he past, the scales definitely have added some weight to most. Additionally, while the girls no longer once on the stage, they sit around and drink with the regulars and try to entice all to take them to the back for a dance. The regular rate for a dance used to be $60 for FS plus $5 for the room. That has gone up to $80 plus the $5. I didn't not partake because I did not find any partners that I wanted to join for a trip to the rear - so I cannot speak to whether the experience has changed. I have heard that now one is rushed out of the room (really a closet sized space) more quickly than in the past. I don't know. All in all, not a pleasant trip to pleasant moments. Hopefully it gets better and returns to its days of glory. And I hope other places start opening their doors as well.
