Tampa Two-Step

Finally made it to Scarlett’s since the shutdown and the re-model, but first . . .

After mainly visiting upper and mid-tier clubs for a while I got the itch to do some diving. I went to a club in Tampa on N. Florida between Fletcher and Bearss. It hasn’t been reviewed much and I contemplated letting it remain the hidden gem that it is. My completely unscientific, uneducated guess is that the reviewers on this and similar boards represent about 1% of the people doing the clubbing and related activities. I went 3 times in the late afternoon. No cover at that time of day. It’s a bikini club so no nudity on the stage. However, the girls are hot. Drinks are reasonably. priced Drinking is encouraged, rather, buying drinks for the ladies, they aren’t shy about asking, particularly shots, I soon understood that it’s not so much about the sales (although that is appreciated) but seems to be the culture of the place. There’s a lot of sitting and talking and drinking with the girls. There’s a VIP area in the back where, apparently, a lot of fun can be had. It’s $10 to the house, $20 per dance or whatever you and the dancer come to terms on.
