Against my better judgement...
Driving through STL area between appointments. Wasn't staying over, so I had time for one stop. I decided (against my better judgement) to hit up Wise Guys. It is a big white pole building with a fenced lot. The inside is kind of wide open. Chairs and couches scattered around randomly. When I was there, there were 2 dancers and the bartender (who I think may dance also) and two or three customers went in and out. My whiskey was $6 and paid I think a $4 dollar cover which was taken out of my $20. I wasn't expecting 10's and I actually don't look for them typically. The girls seemed to be your typical local girls, only in skimpy outfits. Nobody was actually dancing, just hanging around talking to each other and the bartender. I was hoping for a break from the road, a drink and a lap dance or two. While sipping my drink, one nice looking lady, maybe in her late 20's came over (I'm old, they all look like youngsters to me, so I can't say for sure). Got the ole handshake, the "you having a good time?" and right into the "wanna go VIP? I asked how much for a dance and was asked was asked in return if I had $300. I said I was just looking for a dance or two and was told she only does VIP (seriously, How can WG even call things VIP?). I said sorry, not tonight. Finished my drink. No one else came over so I left.
