One dancer, no bartender

Crazy Horse is located in an old strip mall off a busy main drag in a mediocre part of town. There are also a few sex/massage shops in the same strip center. Parking is plentiful and free in a lot that could use a fresh layer of blacktop.

There was only one other car parked anywhere near the club when I pulled in and it had a dancer I recognized and know for a number of years. She is white, early 30's and pretty. She also has 5 kids and her body looked like she had not seen the gym since Covid hit. (A bit soft and pudgy around the mid section.) When the dancer saw me she put down her blunt and said hello. She clearly recognized me, even in my mask, and we had some small talk. The dancer was not wearing a mask.

I asked the dancer how business had been and she said really slow. She told me that business during the day is very weak, but that the night time business is really busy. (She is mostly a daytime dancer.) She told me that she is really hurting for cash and put on the hard sell for me to go inside with her and wait for her to get dressed (she was in jeans and a t-shirt.) I told her that I was on my way to an appointment (that was true) and just was stopping by to see if Crazy Horse had reopened.
