Ups and downs at the remodeled club.

This summary is the result of two separate visits. One on dayshift, and one on nightshift. The experiences could not have been more different. Most of us know that the sure thing in the Pompano triangle is is DD, but I always swing by Boobie Trap on my way through. I have found it to be like a power hitter who has trouble with a curveball. I usually strike out miserably, but when I connect, I hit a homer.

I got there around 9pm. I believe it was just a buck to park, then a temp check, and $10 to the pleasant lady at the register inside, and in I went. The new club is WAY cleaner, and fresher. Gone is the aften malfunctioning AC. There is an upstairs now, but when I asked the server about it, she said nothing was going on up there. Probably only gets used when it's super busy, for special events, or bachelor party type things. On this night there were probably 30 guys in the club.

There is a U shaped bar in the front that seats about 14, a large stage that never had more than one girl on it. Probably could handle 12-16 PL's around it. There were about 5 open booths on the right on stage level, and another row of them on a 3-5 step up level behind that. Then there was another 12-16 person bar in the back. Both were open. That's the gist of the club layout. I sat at the back bar, and attempted to order a beer. I had to shout as loud as I could for the barmaid to hear me. On my 3rd attempt , she was off to get me my Bud. An attractive, young AA sat down next to me. She was so cute, I would have loved to chat her up, and see how we clicked. The thing is, I simply could not communicate with her. It was eardrum shatteringly loud in there. I had a few sips of my $6 beer, and walked away from the lady. I had to get outta there. The noise was brutal. I mentioned to the manager that was hanging out by the door that I was leaving because of the volume. He said that had been a problem, but also claimed he couldn't do anything about it. So I struck out. Lesson learned, Stay away from BT at night for now.
