Used To Be So Good

Stopped in at Wise Guys late on Friday night. Many moons ago this used to be one of the “go to” spots in WP, but even pre-COVID things had become sort of a joke here. Entertainers who acted like their shit don’t stink, sky high prices for short mediocre service, etc.. In short, I hadn’t been to WG in quite some time. Thought I’d see if COVID made things better, worse or the same.

Walked in, paid the usual $5 cover and $3 drink and was immediately approached by a decently attractive WOC who wondered if I wanted company. There were about 6-7 dancers, with only about 3 customers, so I figured, ladies are probably hungry. She immediately pulled out her girls and began the WP handshake and discussion of what wonders could be had in the back. She threw out $$$ + $50 to the house. I nearly spit my beer on her in laughter! $$$.5 in WP, surely you must be joking. She eventually countered at $$, which I thought high, but not ridiculous considering that she was actually attractive (and not merely by WP standards). As she went to secure the necessary room and accoutrements, someone who must have been in charge (300lb dancer in a string bikini...what a sight let me tell ya), came over and demanded another $.5 for the room, after we’d already settled on $$ all in.

For once, I let the big head do the thinking and talking and smiled, copped another feel of my companions bresticles, and noped on out. In short, all the same pre-COVID crap that Wise Guys had become still reigns there now. They apparently can’t decide if they’re going to be a WP five and make money, or be Hustlers with lower quality ladies and too high prices.
