Not much has changed

I was in Akron twice this week for other reasons and one of the days I took a side trip to Gatsby's before driving back home.

Not knowing what to expect I wore a mask when I entered but I was the outlier once inside so I let it dangle from one ear. No cover charge. Large lot with free parking BTW, I mean this is Akron not Vegas.

It looked like my past visits over the years, the bar was stuffed with the regulars taking up almost every stool. Because of Covid possibilities I honestly didn't want to squeeze in a seat next to guys I didn't know so I walked to a corner of the bar and ordered a bottled water. The cute bartender gave it to me and started to walk away so I called out to her and tipped her $2 then grabbed a seat at a table. The layout has been described countless times before.
