Decent visit, staff was a little off their game

Decided to return to this place on a whim as I happened to be driving past after work and needed to kill some time before an event. This was my first return to a SC since COVID started, so I was keeping my expectations pretty low.

As usual, the place was jam-packed on a Friday night. Most people were wearing masks, but the host at the front was barely letting his cover his face (it was a guy I had never met before, I normally deal with the bald/bearded dude who is always SUPER friendly and awesome). After I paid the cover, I jokingly pointed out that he was breathing his death germs all over everyone. He got a real attitude about it. Basically told me that the COVID protocols for the place were "Come if you want to party, fuck what the doctors say." Alrighty then. Fortunately, that was the only pseudo-hostile interaction of the night.

The rest of the night was so-so. There were no real drink specials, and getting service from either the bar or the waitress was a chore. Took me about 15 minutes just to get a beer, and the bartender barely made eye contact with me as she served it. I actually didn't even know she had filled my order until she asked for payment, because she had barely acknowledged my presence. Maybe she was just tired?
