One of the main problems with the gold club is the level of smoke. You enter the club from an alley that runs between 15th st and the auto entrance to the Bellevue on Broad Street. Figure with 8 girls and 20 guys in the club there are about 2 to 3 packs of cigarettes being smokes per hour in a confined room. The drinks are pretty reasonable and the talent is, in my opinion, quite friendly. The talent makes the rounds after their performances collecting singles. They might ask for one here and one there but they are likely to make it worth your while. My suggestion is the $20 dance room. With the right partner, you may leave happy, though smokey.
