aint so sweet

I'll start of by saying that San Antonio is NOT a great strip club town. Didnt know this before my prolonged visit; but after some time in San Antonio, going to 4-5 different SCs, spending a decent amount of time/money at the places...its just not it. The other big cities in Texas (Dallas, Houston, El Paso, Austin) are light years ahead. With that out of the way here's my review of sugars.

Covers not bad, about 15 bucks the evening i visited. The non vip space is pretty cramped due to covid. If you want to stretch out a bit, youll have to typically cough out so money. Since i got there early enough, the manager let me sit in the vip area so long as i bought drinks/dances. No problemo. It did get busier throughout the night, which just showed just how cramped the non vip space was in contrast to the paid area.

The non vip space has a neighborhood bar type feel with 3 stages, the biggest of which has 2 poles. As it got busier, they opened up up more stages. There was also a stage at the vip area but that didnt seem to be a part of the rotation. Rather it was if a customer wanted that to be a part of the private dance. VIP is spacious with its own bar. Here you can get dances on the couches, but the girls will try to upsell you to a room...which isnt really a room, but rather a higher level of vip, again with its own bar and couches for dances. To get here is another $25 per 30min!
