Very Slow Return To Normalcy

I've noticed that the reviews have pretty much completely stopped over the past two months and I'm really not sure what to make of that but, in any event, I am submitting a recap of my recent visit to GGR. This occurred on a Saturday afternoon mostly because the quantity of dancers is usually a bit higher on the weekends than the rest of the week (the QUALITY is often a different story). On this particular day, I counted a total of 9 dancers and most who were there could have just stepped out of a Sir-Mix-A-Lot video. Meaning that that there was a plethora of large asses and bottom-heavy girls. June, Sara, Sapphire and Savannah were in attendance on this day and all would certainly fit this description. I have seen Sara before and, based on the schedule, it seems like she is there just about every day with Sapphire second in line for the GGR Perfect Attendance award. I don't know if it was just me or if Sara has been hitting the carbs especially hard of late, but she definitely looked different to me than the last time I saw her a few months ago. She just looked kind of sloppy and heavy and I recall her having looked a lot more impressive during my previous visit. So at least on this day, if you prefer the slim and petite type (e.g. Ashley) you would have been pretty disappointed because it was almost exclusively the Cellulite Club in the house. I did opt for VIP with Savannah and Grace and, while Savannah was quite personable, her technique is not the greatest and she could benefit from some lower body work at the gym. Grace is considerably less likely to shatter your pelvis and I would give her a slightly higher grade than Savannah as far as effort and satisfaction is concerned, but I wasn't overly impressed with either of them. Just to reiterate the current setup and costs of the VIP room, each dance is a timed 5 minutes and costs $25 a pop (up from $20 prior to the covid shutdown). No matter who you get in the room, dances are generally full contact and high mileage although some girls earn their $$$ a bit more with the occasional stick shifting and other fringe benefits. However, as far as I know, extras are not available at this club but years ago the experience was so consistently stellar that you really didn't mind. As I have said several times previously, that is no longer the case as the quality started dropping off long before this frigging pandemic destroyed every aspect of our lives.

Admission to the club is regularly $20 (doubled from the $10 it used to be) although sometimes during the week they will post Facebook or Instagram ads offering half price admission. Probably not very often, if ever, on a Friday or Saturday. This time the skinny marble-mouthed DJ wasn't there, but the really fat guy who stares at his phone when you're trying to get his attention to order a dance and doesn't speak much more clearly was in the booth. He also has all the congeniality and personality of a dead animal in the street, but you won't care as long as he gives you your number and enunciates it clearly when it's your turn to visit the VIP area.

Despite the continued weirdness of this plastic partition they have separating the girl dancing on stage from the patrons who want a closer look and the mask requirement which adds to the vibe still seeming a bit off from what we're all used to, the reason why things at least seemed somewhat more normal this time was because it did get more crowded than my previous two visits since the reopening. Even though I was quite bored after I had gotten dances from the two girls since I had no interest in anyone else, I hung around until about 9pm just to see if the place started filling up. There was no doubt it was still emptier than would have normally been the case pre-covid, but at least it wasn't completely pathetic. Some of the girls circle the bar and offer dollar dances, but about half of them hide out in the dressing room and only surface if it's their turn to take the stage or if they have a VIP customer waiting. Maybe later this year as we continue to move through this vaccination process, we'll gradually see this place return to the entity we used to know. I want to go back to the days circa 2008 or so when this joint was like the Playboy Mansion East, but I've completely lost hope that it will ever happen.
